Privacy policy

In short: SheenWise has no ads, no accounts and no tracking cookies of its own. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, and we do not sell personal information.

What do we collect when you visit?

SheenWise is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from (for example the referring website, browser type and country). Cloudflare says Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors. We see only totals, not individual people.

Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Our heading font is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser also requests it from Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.

Do we use cookies or ads?

SheenWise does not run ads and does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies.

What about affiliate links?

Some links may be affiliate links, labeled "(paid link)". If you click one, the retailer or software company may set its own cookies to credit the referral, under its own privacy policy. See how SheenWise makes money.

Do we collect email addresses?

Not today. If we add an option to email yourself a project report or join a newsletter, it will be opt-in only: we will ask before adding you, use your address only for what you signed up for, send through our email provider (Resend), include an unsubscribe link in every email, and never sell or share your address. We will update this page before that starts.

Children

SheenWise is written for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. SheenWise does not have a public contact address yet; when we add one, it will be listed here and on the About page.
